Beyond the benefits for specific conditions or diseases, some people enjoy massage because it often produces feelings of relaxation, comfort and connection.

Which Massage is Best for You?

Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is more gentle form of massage that uses long strokes and kneading. It is perfect for anxiety and stress relief while also releasing tight muscles and stiff joints.

Remedial Massage

Remedial Massage use similar techniques to Swedish Massage but using slower more forceful stokes. This means deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue are reached to help with muscle damage from injuries and relief from back pain.

Deep Hot Stone Massage

Deep Hot Stone Massage is new and exclusive to The Fettle Clinic. This treatment is a fusion of traditional Hot Stone Massage and Remedial Massage. We use volcanic stones that were specially designed in China for deep massage. Hot Stones expand blood vessels, which encourages blood flow throughout the body. The hot stones have a sedative effect that can relieve chronic pain, reduce stress and promote deep relaxation. Due to the muscles being warm and more relaxed, a deeper massage is able to be performed without causing pain or discomfort.

Hot Stone Massage can be used to treat the following:

  • Provides relief from pain associated with fibromyalgia, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome and other chronic conditions
  • Decreases pain and muscle spasms
  • Reduces chronic stress and tension
  • Increases flexibility in joints, aiding in easier mobility and movement
  • Relieves pain and tension created by strained and contracted muscles
